Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Holmes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Everybody Knows My Name. Marciano is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kid Charlemagne. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marciano throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Holmes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

A punch lands to the side of Marciano 's head but he takes it in his stride.

That was a close round but I would say that Mike Holmes will probably get the nod.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Marciano in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Holmes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Marciano wants to clinch up but Holmes keeps it at a distance.
Marciano takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Marciano crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Holmes - the referee stops the clock and Marciano gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Holmes. Marciano manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Marciano has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

It looks like Rocky Marciano has been cut.
Holmes throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Marciano is still on wobbly legs! Can Holmes finish him?
Holmes throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Holmes circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Marciano drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Holmes follows Marciano to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
