Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gerome Kabasla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenneth Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Kabasla shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kabasla showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Lucas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kabasla looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lucas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kabasla lands a nice short elbow.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kabasla accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kabasla postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Lucas covers up, he's hurt! Kabasla keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Kabasla and the ref steps in to end the fight! Kabasla can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
