The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kujansuu leaves Gutierrez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gutierrez misses with a takedown attempt - Kujansuu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A left lands for Gutierrez.
Kujansuu scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kujansuu cracks a nice hook into Gutierrez's ribs.
Kujansuu looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Gutierrez takes a shot right to the bread basket.

and Gutierrez counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Kujansuu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kujansuu tries to get out of the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Gutierrez prevents Kujansuu from improving his position.

Kujansuu has one foot on Gutierrez's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Kujansuu throws a lazy right hand but Gutierrez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Gutierrez keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kujansuu.
Gutierrez closes the distance and clinches up with Kujansuu, looking for a takedown. Gutierrez pushes Kujansuu against the cage but Kujansuu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kujansuu fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kujansuu scoring well with a low kick there.
Kujansuu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kalle Kujansuu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kujansuu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gutierrez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kujansuu.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kujansuu. That's going to slow Gutierrez down.
Kujansuu misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kujansuu lands with a straight right. Gutierrez didn't see that one coming.
Kujansuu scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Kalle Kujansuu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kujansuu lands a big uppercut and Gutierrez crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gutierrez looks OK. Kujansuu waves Gutierrez back to his feet!

Gutierrez is rocked!

Kujansuu plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Gutierrez swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Gutierrez face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
