Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ariel Elias!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wagner Fabiano!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fabiano throws a head kick but Elias moves out of range.
Fabiano lands a head kick!

It looks like Ariel Elias has been cut.
Elias doesn't manage to clinch there - Fabiano circles away.
Fabiano leaves Elias with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Elias shoots in for a double leg but Fabiano sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fabiano throws a nice looking combination but Elias bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Fabiano throws a head kick that misses.
Elias shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fabiano but Fabiano pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ariel Elias. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Elias closes the distance and clinches.
Elias has Fabiano pressed against the cage, preventing Fabiano from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Fabiano has had enough of the clinch but Elias keeps him there for the moment.
Elias throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Fabiano blocks it with crossed arms.
Fabiano wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Fabiano breaks the clinch.
Elias shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Elias shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fabiano as he jumps to the side.
Fabiano bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Elias's head.
Fabiano throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Elias's head.
Elias uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fabiano.
Fabiano throws a right hand that Elias ducks under and follows up with a left that Elias also avoids with ease.
Fabiano throws a push kick but Elias slaps the foot to one side.
Fabiano throws a head kick but Elias moves out of range.
Elias shoots in for a takedown but Fabiano shows good takedown defense.
The fighters circle, before Fabiano throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Elias's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Fabiano lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Wagner Fabiano!
A relieved looking Wagner Fabiano thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
