The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trollman moves away from the strike by Riddles.
Trollman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Riddles.
Riddles throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Riddles throws an overhand right that lands on Trollman's shoulder, as Trollman tries to avoid the shot.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Trollman. Riddles shrugs it off though.

Riddles throws the left hand but Trollman avoids the punch easily.
Riddles missing with a left hand there. Trollman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Trollman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nice uppercut lands for Riddles. That snapped Trollman's head back.
Riddles throws a shot from downtown. Trollman moves away and avoids it.

Riddles bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Trollman's head.
Riddles scores with the left hand. Trollman knows he should have avoided that one.

Trollman takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Riddles stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Riddles wants it to stay on the feet.
Riddles throws a hook but Trollman avoids it easily.
Riddles lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Riddles jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Trollman shoots in for a takedown but Riddles shows good takedown defense.
Maphew Riddles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gurgelburg Trollman.
A punch lands to the side of Trollman 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Maphew Riddles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Trollman shoots in and bounces Riddles off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Trollman wants to pass the guard but Riddles is keeping the position.

Riddles is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Trollman is working to tighten is grip on Riddles's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Riddles has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Trollman is really squeezing tight and eventually Riddles passes out! Trollman breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
