The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skjelbred changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Coutinho looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Skjelbred tries for a kimura but Coutinho is defending well.
Skjelbred passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Coutinho!
Coutinho tries to lock up and control but Skjelbred gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Skjelbred looking to control but Coutinho is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Coutinho is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Skjelbred is stalling here but it's allowed Coutinho to get half guard.
Coutinho is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Skjelbred has latched onto it... Big trouble! Skjelbred pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Coutinho is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Skjelbred!
