Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paris avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Paris attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Twister keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Twister misses with a body shot.

Twister feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Twister throws a big elbow that misses.
Twister seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Paris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Twister on the ground.
Paris is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Paris uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Twister.
Twister stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Paris.
Twister takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

and Paris counters with a nice low kick that buckles Twister's knee momentarily.
Twister shoots in looking for a takedown but Paris manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Twister's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Johnny Paris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TT Twister.
Twister is breathing heavily.
Paris throws a head kick that misses.

and Paris counters with a left and a right that stings Twister.
Paris jabs Twister to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Twister closes this distance looking for a takedown but Paris circles away.
Paris thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Twister if he has to take too many more of those.
Twister tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Paris cracks Twister with an open hand slap.
Paris thuds his right hand into Twister's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Paris cracks Twister with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Twister tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Paris pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Twister is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
