Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Moraes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Kroon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moraes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Revelação - Tá Escrito. The key to victory for Sergio Moraes has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergio Moraes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Kroon! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kroon is looking to clinch but Moraes is avoiding it.
Kroon slips under a jab. Moraes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Moraes thuds his right hand into Kroon's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Kroon slips a straight right by Moraes. Moraes lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kroon at a distance.
Moraes looks to land a combination. Kroon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Moraes throws a nice looking combination but Kroon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kroon darts in and clinches Moraes up against the cage. Kroon lands a takedown into guard.
Moraes looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Moraes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kroon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Moraes's head. Moraes manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kroon manages to get himself to full guard.
Moraes trying to control the position from guard on top but Kroon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kroon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moraes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moraes stays in close to Kroon's body and controls the position. Moraes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Moraes looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Moraes trying to control but Kroon is working from the bottom. Moraes looking to pass the guard. Moraes has gone for a leg lock! Kroon slips out almost immediately though and dives into Moraes's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moraes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Moraes thows a huge punch but Kroon dodges it nicely.
Moraes is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kroon has managed to free his arm - good work. Moraes is looking to advance position but Kroon won't allow it. Kroon is trying to stand back up but Moraes is controlling him
Moraes trying to control from half guard but Kroon is working away. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Moraes in particular looking to stall. Moraes passes to full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kroon keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Moraes takes Kroon's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Kroon is in trouble. Moraes is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Kroon has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Moraes has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Kroon taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Moraes doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sergio Moraes! After the big win, Sergio Moraes made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Torment Fightwear and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
