PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Troy Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Randy Couture was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Couture fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Beast sprawls well initially but Couture persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Couture is looking for a kimura but Beast is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Couture to get the leverage.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Couture looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Beast with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Troy Beast will probably get the nod.

Couture got a little sloppy there for a moment and Beast has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Couture has managed to get both his arms back between Beast's legs - danger averted.

Randy Couture comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Couture has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
