Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Reaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thadus McDoogle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reaver tries a head kick but it misses.
Reaver lands a head kick!

It looks like Thadus McDoogle has been cut.

McDoogle instigates a clinch.

Reaver pulls guard effortlessly.
McDoogle pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reaver is keeping the position for now.
Reaver is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Reaver is looking to stand up but McDoogle isn't so interested in that idea.
McDoogle content to stall in guard here.

McDoogle stands up and waves to Reaver to follow him.

Reaver uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Some wild striking there from McDoogle.
McDoogle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Reaver, right into the meat.
McDoogle blocks a head kick by Reaver.
Reaver lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
McDoogle moves out of range as Reaver throws a body kick.

McDoogle is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Reaver's half guard.

McDoogle trying to pass the guard but Reaver defending well.
Reaver wants to improve his position but McDoogle is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McDoogle moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Reaver.
Reaver is trying to control McDoogle's posture but McDoogle avoids it.

Reaver tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Reaver struggling a bit here.

McDoogle tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
McDoogle tries to move into full mount but can't pass Reaver's legs.

McDoogle wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Reaver, who protects the arm well.

McDoogle stands up.
McDoogle closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Reaver swinging wildly here.
Reaver misses with a hook. McDoogle ducked under it nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

McDoogle gets the takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McDoogle takes a little break here. Reaver wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Reaver is working to avoid the ground and pound but McDoogle connects with a decent elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Thadus McDoogle will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

McDoogle gets a takedown into half guard.
Reaver is looking to improve his position.
Reaver is trying to maintain the position but McDoogle is very close to passing his half guard.
McDoogle is keen to just control but Reaver is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McDoogle is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Reaver doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McDoogle.
McDoogle uses his free foot to push down on Reaver's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Reaver.

McDoogle fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
McDoogle pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Reaver tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Reaver defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from McDoogle.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McDoogle cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McDoogle trying to control but Reaver is having none of it.
McDoogle lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
McDoogle content just to control the position here.

You get the feeling that Reaver really doesn't like being in this position too much.
McDoogle raining down hammerfists from mount.
Reaver tries to control McDoogle's body but McDoogle pushes him off. Reaver squirms to his side and now McDoogle has his back!
McDoogle is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

McDoogle has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Reaver is in real trouble here. McDoogle gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Reaver is tapping out! McDoogle wins by rear naked choke!
