Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jayne Cobb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boxing Dummie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cobb comes into the arena with The Hero of Canton blaring out of the sound system. Dummie has chosen The Boxer / Simon & Garfunkel as his entrance music. Jayne Cobb could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Boxing Dummie's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dummie moves into range and connects with a jab.

Cobb shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dummie pinned against the cage. Dummie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Cobb stalks Dummie and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dummie's face. Dummie staggers backwards, shaken.
A bone on bone clash there as Cobb blocks the leg kick.
Dummie is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Cobb had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cobb connects with a nice short shot to Dummie's temple.

Cobb takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Cobb takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cobb lands a nice short elbow.

Boxing Dummie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
