Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joao Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Lane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliveira comes to the cage accompanied by Greenday-Holyday. Jack Lane will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joao Oliveira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Lane! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lane lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Lane shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oliveira pinned against the cage. Oliveira gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Lane rushes Oliveira and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Lane takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Oliveira tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lane avoids it. Lane lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Lane's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lane pushes Oliveira up against the cage in a clinch. Lane gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Oliveira regains guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lane sitting in guard here, content to control. Lane must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lane in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lane trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lane looking to sit in guard and control but Oliveira gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lane is trying to keep Oliveira in close.
Lane trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Oliveira is stalling in the full guard. Oliveira could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Lane managing to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jack Lane. Lane closes the distance and lands a one-two. Oliveira shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lane is trying to defend but Oliveira finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Lane gets full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lane looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lane scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Lane keeps the fight on the outside. Lane shoots in but Oliveira avoids the takedown attempt easily. Lane looks gassed! Oliveira closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lane circles away. Joao Oliveira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lane stuffs the takedown attempt from Oliveira. Oliveira gets slowly back to his feet. Lane shoots in looking for a takedown. Oliveira tries to sprawl out of it but Lane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Oliveira manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Joao Oliveira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Lane. Lane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oliveira shoots and misses and Lane counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Lane gets a double leg takedown into Oliveira's guard. Lane drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Oliveira dives on top into guard. Oliveira looking to pass the guard. Lane seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Oliveira tries to free his leg and advance position but Lane is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Lane dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lane shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Oliveira but Oliveira pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lane misses with a double jab.
Oliveira closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lane circles away. Lane walks into a left hand. Lane fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Oliveira tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Horrible takedown by Oliveira or perhaps it was just good defense by Lane which made him look bad. Oliveira has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lane manages to break the clinch.
Oliveira tries for a takedown but Lane circles away easily and Lane counters with a nice double leg into side control. Oliveira won't be happy with that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joao Oliveira. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Oliveira wants to control but Lane postures up. Lane is trying to move to mount but Oliveira reverses beautifully and ends up in Lane's guard. Oliveira stops Lane from standing up. Oliveira trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jack Lane has got the better of the ground game so far. Lane can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Oliveira controls the pace. Oliveira trying to control the position from guard on top but Lane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lane looking for a guillotine here but Oliveira defends easily.
Oliveira decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Lane throws a head kick but Oliveira moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lane stuffs the takedown. Oliveira has a takedown stuffed. Oliveira is looking to clinch. Oliveira stuffs the takedown attempt from Lane. Lane gets slowly back to his feet. Oliveira on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lane. Lane obviously looking to wear him down.
Lane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Oliveira is defended easily by Lane.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lane shoots in looking for a takedown. Oliveira tries to sprawl out of it but Lane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Oliveira manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Oliveira shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lane as he jumps to the side. Oliveira takes a body punch but keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Oliveira lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jack Lane will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Oliveira's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Lane closes the distance and clinches up with Oliveira, looking for a takedown. Lane pushes Oliveira against the cage but Oliveira circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jack Lane seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lane clinches up against the cage. Lane taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Oliveira looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Lane slowing the pace effectively. Lane lands an elbow inside that Oliveira shrugs off. Lane breaks the clinch.
Lane displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Nice sprawl there from Lane as Oliveira shoots in. Lane takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. An inside leg kick lands from Lane. Lane doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lane throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Oliveira tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lane is in Oliveira's guard. Lane trying to control the position from guard on top but Oliveira is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lane throws a strike but Oliveira rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Lane wants to sweep here but Oliveira controlling him for the moment. Lane trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Oliveira sitting in guard here, content to control. Lane working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Oliveira has passed into half guard!
Lane on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Lane tries to kick Oliveira off but Oliveira keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Lane is looking to control Oliveira's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lane avoid being mounted? Oliveira is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lane doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Oliveira.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oliveira stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Lane to get to his feet. Jack Lane is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Oliveira dives in and grabs Lane's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lane pushes down on Oliveira's head and hops out. Lane gets a clinch. Lane pulls guard successfully.
Lane is adopting a defensive guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lane wants to control but Oliveira passes easily into half guard.
Lane has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Oliveira is working away from the top position though. Lane keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Oliveira slows the pace down in half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Oliveira is looking to advance position but Lane won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Lane comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lane has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
