Barnett comes to the ring accompanied by Catch Is as Catch can Iam CATCHISCAN MAN!. Gracie has chosen Brazilian national anthem by Ill Nino as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Barnett.
Barnett tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Barnett.

Barnett looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Barnett misses with a double jab.
Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Barnett which made him look bad.

Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barnett swivels and escapes.
Barnett looks to land a left hand but Gracie moved out of range nicely.

Barnett throws a hook but Gracie blocks it.
Barnett thuds a left hand into Gracie's body.
Barnett missing with a left hand there. Gracie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Barnett connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gracie. Gracie circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Barnett is working to get back to half guard.
