With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ross Maxwell!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.


It looks like Ross Maxwell has been cut.
Maxwell ducks under a wild hook from Rosholt.
Rosholt looks for a takedown but Maxwell sprawls well.
Rosholt tries to clinch up.
Nice uppercut there from Rosholt.

Maxwell drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Maxwell wants to take a breather but Rosholt manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Maxwell.
Maxwell is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Ross Maxwell has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Maxwell gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rosholt to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Rosholt throws an elbow that misses. Maxwell uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rosholt's guard. Nice move by Maxwell!

Maxwell postures up in Rosholt's guard and throws a big left but Rosholt blocks it.
Maxwell wants to control from the top but Rosholt keeps moving.
Rosholt preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Rosholt is pulling down on Maxwell's head to control his posture.

Maxwell must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Maxwell slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ross Maxwell was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Rosholt ducks under a wild hook from Maxwell.

Rosholt cracks Maxwell with an uppercut from hell and Maxwell crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Rosholt's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Maxwell looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rosholt is one step ahead there.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Maxwell holds on and takes a little breather.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Ross Maxwell's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Maxwell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rosholt is fending him off so far but Maxwell persists. Nope, Rosholt circles away and we're back to standing.
Maxwell swings away with a body shot that misses

and Rosholt counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Maxwell!


Maxwell is rocked!
Rosholt postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Maxwell out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Rosholt goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tony Rosholt!
Tony Rosholt really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that RAW Nutrition Recovery *159 : 60$ * logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
