Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Vargas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nic Ola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vargas comes into the arena with Strong Will Continue -- Damian Marley blaring out of the sound system. Ola has chosen Disorder by Ice T&Slayer as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas throws out a loose jab but Ola uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nic Ola seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ola connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Vargas momentarily.
Ola lands a two punch combo.

Vargas gets tackled into the cage by Ola. Ola maintains the clinch.

Ola fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vargas has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Vargas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ola.
Ola has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Ola in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Vargas throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Ola stumbling backwards into the cage! Ola bounces back off the cage towards Vargas, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Vargas lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Vargas celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
