Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brian Polski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Desperado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian Polski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tito Desperado!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Desperado throws a leg kick

and Polski counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Polski with a flurry of punches that miss.
Polski wants to stand but Desperado has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Desperado is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Polski wants to control from the top but Desperado keeps moving.
Polski stops Desperado from standing up.

Desperado has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Polski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Desperado kicks Polski off and gets to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No joy there for Desperado, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Polski stuffs the takedown attempt from Desperado. Desperado gets slowly back to his feet.
A slow jab from Desperado misses its intended target.

Desperado throws a body kick that misses.
Desperado fails with the takedown.
Desperado chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Polski can pounce on him.
Desperado goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

and Polski counters with a big head kick but Desperado shrugs it off.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Desperado.
Brian Polski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tito Desperado.
Desperado thows a body shot but no joy.

The crowd are getting on Desperado's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

Polski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Polski is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Polski closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Desperado has one foot on Polski's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Polski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Desperado circles away quickly and effectively.

Polski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Desperado moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Desperado throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Polski shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Polski was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Desperado takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Polski scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Desperado?

Polski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Polski would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Desperado has his foot on Polski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Polski works his way back into a safe position though.

Desperado on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Desperado takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Desperado motions for Polski to come forward. Desperado throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Polski shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Desperado is trying to defend but Polski finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Polski thows a huge punch but Desperado dodges it nicely.
Polski is just content to waste time from the top position. Desperado takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Polski fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Desperado to the ground. Polski is now in Desperado's guard.

Desperado looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Polski has picked Desperado up and slammed him! Desperado can't keep hold of the triangle and Polski manages to pass to side control!

Polski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Polski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Desperado is pushing Polski's head away, looking to escape. Polski manages to hold on to the position though.
Polski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Desperado keeps working.

Desperado is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Polski has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Desperado wants to control but Polski is having none of it.

Polski takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Polski controlling the position well here. Desperado rolled but Polski kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well Polski has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
