Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Camillo Samcjez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua North (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). North is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by No Joke. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Joshua North enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Camillo Samcjez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joshua North!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
North shoots in but Samcjez avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A clash of legs there as Samcjez blocks the low kick.
North shoots in for a takedown but Samcjez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
North shoots in and drives through. Samcjez sprawls well.
Camillo Samcjez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joshua North.
Samcjez gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Samcjez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

North fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Samcjez to the ground. North is now in Samcjez's guard.
North trying to control the position from guard on top but Samcjez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

North drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and North jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
North wants to pass the guard but Samcjez is keeping the position.

North is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
North is trying to work for a kimura but Samcjez is defending well.
North seems to be looking for submissions.
North is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

North fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Samcjez checks it well.
North will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

North fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Samcjez avoids it really well and circles away.

North looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Samcjez is fending him off so far but North persists. Nope, Samcjez circles away and we're back to standing.

Samcjez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

North clinches up with Samcjez and pushes him back against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Samcjez counters with a big head kick but North shrugs it off.
