The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Love gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jones connects with a nice short shot to Love's temple.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Love bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Love got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Love has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.
