Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quick Mick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendall Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kendall Butler is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quick Mick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kendall Butler!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mick stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mick wants it to stay on the feet.
Butler looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Butler looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
No luck for Butler with that takedown attempt.
Quick Mick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kendall Butler.
Butler misses with a double jab.
Mick throws a sloppy head kick and Butler moves out of range easily.
Butler should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Butler shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mick pinned against the cage. Mick gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mick thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Butler's head.

Mick wants to work for an arm triangle but Butler is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Butler had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mick defends it easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Quick Mick.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Butler throws a right and a left that Mick avoids nicely.
Butler lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Quick Mick is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Mick will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Mick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Butler on the ground.
Mick throws a strike there. Butler manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.

Butler lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mick!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Butler is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mick has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mick!

Quick Mick overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Butler throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

Kendall Butler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Butler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mick moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mick fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Butler sprawls well initially but Mick persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Butler wants to control but Mick is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Butler is staying active underneath Mick, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Mick drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Butler manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mick has Butler in his guard.
Butler is fighting to break Mick's control of his arms but Mick is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Butler lands a good knee to the midsection. Mick won't want to take too many of those.

Kendall Butler comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Butler has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
