Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jr Seau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smuddy Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Seau shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Seau was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Silva tries to buck Seau off but he can't manage it.
Seau cracks Silva with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Seau has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Silva's face.

Seau lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva gets caught flat footed, as Seau shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Silva throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Silva has momentary wrist control but Seau slips an elbow through the middle.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Silva bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Silva wanted to stand there but Seau had control of the position.

Silva stands up and waves to Seau to follow him.
Seau shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Silva wants to get back to his feet but Seau is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Silva looks for the body kick but Seau saw that one coming.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Seau drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Seau tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Seau avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Seau shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Seau is nestled in close to Silva, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Silva is trying to control but Seau manages to pass to mount!

Silva tries to lock up and control but Seau gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Seau throws some wild stikes that Silva manages to avoid easily.
Silva is looking to improve his position but Seau isn't that keen on the idea.

Seau is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Silva can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Silva is in a horrible position here. Seau smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Seau postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Silva bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Seau and the fight is over!
