Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Adkins!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Barnes moves into the clinch.
Adkins has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Barnes after a bit of a struggle.
A short right from Barnes on the inside.
Barnes landing knees to the head.
It looks like Scott Adkins has been cut.
Adkins tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Barnes smiles and moves away.
Adkins shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ben Barnes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Adkins.
Barnes stuffs the takedown attempt from Adkins. Adkins gets slowly back to his feet.
Barnes clinches up against the cage.
Adkins tries to land knees in the clinch but Barnes avoids the damage to the body.
Barnes blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Adkins changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Barnes fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Barnes buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Barnes clinches up against the cage.
Adkins tries to break the clinch but Barnes is controlling the position.
Barnes unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Barnes lands a nice uppercut.
Adkins tries to circle away but Barnes has him pinned against the cage.

Adkins looks gassed!
Barnes utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Barnes connects with a nasty looking knee right to Adkins's face.
Adkins is rocked!
Barnes has Adkins pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Adkins is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Barnes - that's hurt Adkins badly! Oh, another knee lands and Adkins is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Adkins doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Ben Barnes!
Ben Barnes decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
