Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bryan Christopher!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christopher takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ivanski fails with a takedown attempt.
Ivanski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Christopher as he avoids it easily.
Christopher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ivanski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Christopher manages to avoid it.

Christopher tries to clinch but Ivanski is having none of it.
Christopher throws a head kick but Ivanski moves out of range.

Ivanski shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ivanski showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Christopher is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ivanski's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ivanski's back!

Christopher is persistently looking for the submission but Ivanski is defending it well.
Christopher slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Christopher is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Christopher gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Christopher gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Christopher apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Ivanski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Christopher defends it nicely.
Bryan Christopher is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Maksim Ivanski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Christopher is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ivanski is defending well for now.
Ivanski drops down looking for an ankle pick but Christopher pulls his leg out and moves away.

Ivanski shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ivanski was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

A big strike lands for Ivanski! That's really hurt Christopher and he's turned his back - Ivanski keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Ivanski jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
