The crowd seem to be enjoying Jones's choice of entrance music: Lacuna Coil - Without Fear. Curtis Jones will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuntz swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Kuntz lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kuntz throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Jones jabs Kuntz to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kuntz dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jones. That did some damage!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rusty Kuntz.
Kuntz does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jones scores with a hook to the body. Kuntz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Jones takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Jones is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kuntz rather than just go for the knockout.

Kuntz looks to land a left hand but Jones moved out of range nicely.

Kuntz clobbers Jones with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jones goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kuntz has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jones but great work by Kuntz.
