Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Nate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Runtu-Jorma Gorbatsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuri Nate has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nate takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Gorbatsov thuds a left hand into Nate's body.

Gorbatsov gets the takedown into side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Nate is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nate regains full guard. Nicely done.
Nate manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gorbatsov manages to get himself to full guard.

Gorbatsov has his foot on Nate's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nate works his way back into a safe position though.

Nate looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gorbatsov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Nate thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gorbatsov's head.
Gorbatsov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Yuri Nate will probably get the nod.

Gorbatsov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gorbatsov wants it to stay on the feet.

Nate postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Gorbatsov in real trouble here! The ref calls for Gorbatsov to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
