Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cole Konrad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage comes into a darkened arena with his song building. OOOOOOHHH YYYYEEEAAAHHH MACHO MAN INTRO MUSIC kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Konrad shoots in for a takedown but Savage shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Savage looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Konrad throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Savage's waist but Savage gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Konrad off to one side.
Randy Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Savage tries to clinch up

and Konrad counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Savage can do anything to dispel that myth.
A big strike lands for Konrad! That's really hurt Savage and he's turned his back - Konrad keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Konrad jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
