Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Henry Hitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cactus Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitman slips a jab and a cross from Kid.

Kid has Hitman pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kid pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hitman tumbling to the mat - Kid dives into Hitman's guard.

Hitman had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kid is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hitman Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kid's back instead.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kid connects with a nice short shot to Hitman's temple.

Kid is nestled in close to Hitman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Kid seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Cactus Kid showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
