The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Numidim stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Numidim wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice sprawl there from Numidim as Cruz shoots in.
Numidim keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roberto Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Numidim swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Numidim throws a low kick but Cruz avoids it.
Numidim tries to close the distance and clinch but Cruz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Numidim ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cruz moves away.

The fighters circling - Numidim throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Numidim scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Numidim lands with a hook. Cruz tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Cruz shoots for a takedown but Numidim saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cruz is breathing heavily.
Numidim throws a jab when Cruz was well out of range.
Numidim changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Numidim lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Numidim misses with a body kick.
Cruz leaves his chin hanging out and Numidim seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Cruz crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

A relieved looking Juba Numidim thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
