Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Surov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benedito Braga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Surov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Amphetamines. Alexei Surov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Benedito Braga!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Surov connects with a nice looking jab.
Surov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Braga moves away.
Braga on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Braga waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Surov.

Surov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Surov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Surov prevents Braga from getting the reversal.

Surov working for a submission but Braga is keeping him at bay.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Surov is working for a guillotine from mount but Braga frees his head quite easily.
Surov postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Braga looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Braga is looking to improve his position but Surov isn't that keen on the idea.

Braga sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Surov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Braga tries to get to full guard but Surov has control of the leg.

Surov is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Braga has managed to free his arm - good work.
Surov drops an elbow to the side of Braga's head.

Braga is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Surov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Braga wants to improve his position but Surov is controlling well.
Braga trying to get back to full guard but Surov takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Surov! Braga is hurt baaadly! Surov is firing away with more strikes - Braga is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
