Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Denzel Rain Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Strand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rain Man gets a clinch.
Rain Man ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rain Man no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Strand loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Rain Man wants to get back to his feet but Strand is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Strand trying to control but Rain Man is working from the bottom.
Strand's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Strand throws a big right hand that misses.
Strand tries to free his leg and advance position but Rain Man is retaining full guard.

Strand is fighting to break Rain Man's control of his arms but Rain Man is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Ryan Strand has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Strand drives through and clinches with Rain Man against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Strand jumps guard but Rain Man stands there with Strand around his waist. Strand gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rain Man changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Strand tries to avoid it but Rain Man manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Strand to the ground. Strand escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rain Man throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Strand's waist but Strand gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rain Man off to one side.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Denzel Rain Man.

Denzel Rain Man decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
