Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Didier Leroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ray Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Didier Leroy!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leroy stuffs the takedown attempt from Stone. Stone gets slowly back to his feet.
Stone shoots in for a takedown but Leroy shows good takedown defense.
Leroy swats away the attempt to clinch by Stone.
Leroy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Leroy takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Stone circles away from the clinch attempt.

Stone has Leroy up against the cage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Leroy's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Leroy tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Leroy throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Stone is trying to pull guard but Leroy turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ray Stone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stone is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Leroy pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Leroy gets underhooks to prevent Stone's takedown attempt.
Stone tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Leroy smiles and moves away.
Leroy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nice sprawl there from Leroy as Stone shoots in.
Leroy lands a high kick!
Leroy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stone.
Stone wants to clinch.
Stone is trying hard to land a takedown here. Leroy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Stone fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Leroy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Leroy closes the distance and clinches up with Stone, looking for a takedown. Leroy pushes Stone against the cage but Stone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Leroy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stone tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Leroy lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Leroy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stone.

and Leroy counters with a nice body shot.
Leroy looks to clinch
and Stone counters with a left and a right that stings Leroy.

Stone fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Leroy, pushing him back against the cage.
Stone is working for takedown but Leroy is calmly controlling the position for now.
Leroy is looking to break free of the clinch but Stone has double underhooks.
Leroy stops a takedown attempt from Stone.

Leroy decides to pull guard.
Leroy is trying to keep Stone in close.
Stone looking to pass the guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stone prevents Leroy from getting back to his feet.

Didier Leroy has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Stone shoots in looking for a takedown but Leroy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stone's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stone has a takedown stuffed.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Leroy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ray Stone will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Leroy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stone swivels and escapes.

Leroy darts in and clinches Stone up against the cage.
Leroy can't find room to land a body shot as Stone controls the action.

Stone drags the fight down to the ground.

Leroy stands up and waves to Stone to follow him.
Leroy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Stone gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Stone has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Leroy uses from the top position.

Stone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Leroy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Stone is working an open guard so Leroy takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Stone tries a head kick but it misses.
Leroy is looking to clinch but Stone is avoiding it.
Leroy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ray Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Didier Leroy.
Leroy tries to clinch up.
Stone moves away from the strike by Leroy.
Stone lands a head kick. Leroy smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Stone closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Stone darts in and clinches Leroy up against the cage.
Stone lands a body punch.

Leroy decides to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Leroy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Leroy is breathing heavily.
Leroy keeping moving, preventing Stone from controlling successfully.
Leroy is trying to control the position but Stone postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Didier Leroy was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Stone fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Leroy looks to land a combination but Stone avoids it well.
Stone shoots in looking for a takedown. Leroy tries to sprawl out of it but Stone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Leroy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stone misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Stone darts in and clinches Leroy up against the cage.
Stone gets through Leroy's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Stone drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Leroy gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Stone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Stone throws the left hand but Leroy avoids the punch easily.
Stone shoots in and drives through. Leroy sprawls well.
Leroy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stone moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Leroy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Stone has a hand on Leroy's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Leroy takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Leroy trying to control but Stone is having none of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stone is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Didier Leroy will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Leroy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Leroy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stone sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Leroy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stone avoids it really well and circles away.

Leroy tries to close the distance and clinch but Stone swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Leroy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stone did well to prevent Leroy getting side control.
Stone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leroy on the ground.
Leroy has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Stone is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Leroy working for a guillotine from mount but Stone is in no mood to give up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stone is looking to improve his position but Leroy isn't that keen on the idea.

Leroy wants to finish this one by submission but Stone is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Leroy.
Stone is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Stone is wriggling around trying to escape.
Leroy looking to control but Stone is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Leroy get's back to his feet.

Stone drives through and clinches with Leroy against the cage.

Stone ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Stone no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Leroy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stone is proving hard to escape from.
Leroy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stone's guard.
Stone is trying to stand up here but Leroy is controlling him well.

Leroy prevents Stone from improving his position.
Leroy is keen to just control but Stone is a slippery customer.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stone wants to control but Leroy is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Leroy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Stone!

Didier Leroy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Leroy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
