The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dragonovish has Silva up against the cage in a clinch.
Dragonovish is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Silva is defending well.
Dragonovish drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dragonovish jumps guard but Silva stands there with Dragonovish around his waist. Dragonovish gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Wanderlei Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Dragonovish.
Silva comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Ivan Dragonovish has been cut.
Dragonovish wants to take the fight to the mat but Silva manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Silva blocks an uppercut.
Silva lands an elbow inside that Dragonovish shrugs off.
Dragonovish looks gassed!

Silva lands a vicious elbow to the side of Dragonovish's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Silva tries to finish him with strikes but Dragonovish still seems able to defend himself so Silva steps back and lets Dragonovish get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

Dragonovish is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva is looking to clinch.

Silva moves into the clinch.
Silva has Dragonovish pressed against the cage. He pushes Dragonovish back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Silva throws a beautiful elbow that sends Dragonovish crashing to the floor! Silva piles on the pressure with more strikes! Dragonovish is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
