Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Crassus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Perry might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Run For Cover. The crowd seem to be enjoying Crassus's choice of entrance music: Rome. Marcus Crassus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crassus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Perry sprawls well. Perry wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Crassus gets slowly back to his feet.

Perry shoots in for a double leg but Crassus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Perry is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Donk. Perry catches Crassus right on the button with a cross.
Perry lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lee Perry.
I think Crassus has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
