Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saymon Saymon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murat Shokhzodayev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shokhzodayev is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: russian song. Saymon Saymon looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shokhzodayev shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Saymon sprawls well. Saymon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shokhzodayev gets slowly back to his feet.
Saymon looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Shokhzodayev shoots in looking for a takedown but Saymon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Shokhzodayev's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Saymon counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Saymon Saymon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Murat Shokhzodayev.

Shokhzodayev has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Saymon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shokhzodayev working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Saymon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Saymon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Saymon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shokhzodayev on the ground.

Saymon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Shokhzodayev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Saymon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Saymon would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shokhzodayev is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Saymon throws a big elbow that misses.
Saymon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shokhzodayev swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Shokhzodayev is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Saymon defends well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Oh but Shokhzodayev is tightening it up a little... Saymon has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Saymon reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Saymon taps out! Nice BJJ there by Shokhzodayev!
