Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nicholis Nabavian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buddy Palermo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nicholis Nabavian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Buddy Palermo!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Nabavian misses.
Nabavian shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Palermo but Palermo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nabavian tries a head kick but it misses.
Nabavian moves in looking to clinch but Palermo pushes him off.

Palermo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Nabavian's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Nabavian manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Palermo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Nabavian working for a submission but Palermo is keeping him at bay.
Nabavian throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Palermo wants to hold on but Nabavian pushes him away.
Palermo prevents Nabavian from taking his back.

Nabavian lands a big elbow.

Palermo has left one of his arms exposed and Nabavian doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Palermo screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
