Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marino Barter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scaper Lol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marino Barter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Scaper Lol!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Lol as he connects with a hook.

Lol closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Lol escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lol darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lol is trying to control the action in half guard but Barter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Barter trying to control but Lol postures up.
Lol wants to free his trapped foot but Barter is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barter is trying to stand up here but Lol is controlling him well.
Barter has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lol is working away from the top position though.
Barter trying to get back to full guard but Lol takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Barter keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lol controlling from mount.
Lol thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Barter wants to control but Lol is having none of it.
Barter is in all sorts of trouble here.

Lol controlling the pace for now.
Barter regains half guard.
Barter slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Lol forces his way into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lol seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Lol is keen to just control but Barter is a slippery customer.
Lol thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Barter's head.

Barter actively working from the bottom here.

Lol sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Scaper Lol has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Barter gets caught flat footed, as Lol shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lol trying to control the position from guard on top but Barter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Barter wants to hit a switch here but Lol passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Barter there!
Barter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Barter tries to reverse the position but Lol maintains control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scaper Lol dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Lol moves into the clinch.

Lol's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Lol drives through with a takedown into Barter's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Barter has a closed guard, preventing Lol from standing up.
Barter controls Lol momentarily but Lol frees himself.
Lol tries to free his leg and advance position but Barter is retaining full guard.
Barter is trying to keep Lol in close.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Marino Barter wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Barter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lol circles away quickly and effectively.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Lol rushes Barter and presses him up against the cage.

Lol breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Barter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lol tries to avoid it but Barter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lol to the ground. Lol escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Barter fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lol throws a nice outside leg kick.
Lol throws a right and a left that Barter avoids nicely.
Barter shoots for a takedown but Lol saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marino Barter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lol darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Lol is figuring out what he wants to do next.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lol is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Barter is staying active underneath Lol, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Scaper Lol has got the better of the ground game so far.
Barter is looking to control Lol's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Barter avoid being mounted?
Lol sitting and controlling from the half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Barter is looking for a sweep. Lol is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Lol content to control rather than advance.
Lol throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Barter to regain full guard.
Lol wanted to stand there but Barter had control of the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Scaper Lol hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Barter throws a hook but Lol avoids it easily.
Barter shoots for a takedown but Lol saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Lol shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barter napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lol in side control, throwing shots but Barter defends.
Barter wants to control but Lol postures up.
Barter sneaks back into half guard.
Lol wants to free his trapped foot but Barter is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Lol works his way into full mount!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Barter is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scaper Lol showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


No luck with that takedown attempt from Barter.
Lol is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lol shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Lol looking to ground and pound but Barter is blocking nicely.
Barter is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Lol avoids the attempt from Barter to control.
Lol trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Barter is desperately trying to improve his position but Lol has a good base and remains in mount.
Lol throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Lol controlling from the full mount.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Barter is wriggling around trying to escape.
Barter avoids a series of strikes thrown by Lol.
Lol sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Barter wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
What can Barter do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Barter is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lol gets his way!
Lol tries to keep control of the position but Barter is staying busy.
Lol is trying to stick to Barter's back but Barter is turning into Lol. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Lol's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Barter.
Lol looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Barter wants to control from the top but Lol keeps moving.

Barter looking to pass the guard.
Barter content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Lol is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Barter trying to control but Lol is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barter won't allow Lol to get back to his feet.
Barter controlling from the top position.

Marino Barter has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Lol defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Barter.
Barter misses with a series of wild punches.
Barter will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Barter closes the distance but Lol moves to the side
and Lol makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lol gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lol jumps guard and drags Barter to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Marino Barter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Scaper Lol is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Barter loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

And that's the end of the fight!
Scaper Lol comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lol has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
