The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molina lands a nice shot that snaps Cote's head back.
Molina keeps the fight on the outside.
Cote is looking to clinch.
Cote clinches up against the cage.
Molina escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Molina lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cote backs up against the cage.
It looks like Randy Cote has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cote throws a head kick that misses.
Cote shoots in for a takedown but Molina shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Molina fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Cote fails in his attempt to clinch.
Molina smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Cote shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Molina manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Molina has his feet on Cote's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Cote looks for a takedown but Molina sprawls well.
Molina lands a nice hook to Cote's body. Cote takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Cote shoots in and drives through. Molina sprawls well.
Drew Molina has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Cote.
Molina pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Cote back to the cage. Molina follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Cote takes the fight into the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cote seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Molina shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Cote is backing up but Molina catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Cote covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Molina Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Drew Molina!
Drew Molina decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
