The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krest works Agro's body with a nice hook.
Agro takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Krest darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Krest ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Agro moves away.
Krest misses with a lunging right hand

so Agro counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Krest on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Krest tries to get out of the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Krest managing to control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Karl Krest.
Agro will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Oooooh!!! Krest has knocked Agro down with a huge combo! Krest steps away and waves a wobbly Agro back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

and Agro decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Krest's guard.

Krest wants to get back to his feet but Agro is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Agro tries to free his leg and advance position but Krest is retaining full guard.

Agro drops back looking for a leg! Krest is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Krest manages to kick Agro off! Agro jumps back into Krest's guard.
Agro prevents Krest from getting back to his feet.

Krest wants to sweep here but Agro controlling him for the moment.
Krest controls Agro momentarily but Agro frees himself.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Agro is defended easily by Krest.
Agro dives in and grabs Krest's left leg, looking for a takedown. Krest pushes down on Agro's head and hops out.
Karl Krest has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Agro.
Agro takes one to the chin there.

Agro takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Krest cracks Agro with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Agro looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Krest finish him?

Agro is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Agro gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Krest gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Agro is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
