Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carl Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matheus Malinowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malinowski has chosen The Offspring-Pretty Fly (For a White Guy) as his entrance music. Malinowski has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Matheus Malinowski is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Malinowski has managed to clinch.

Cox is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Malinowski can't fight it off and eventually Cox manages to take the fight to the floor. Malinowski looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Cox postures up in Malinowski's guard and throws a big left but Malinowski blocks it.
Cox's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Malinowski keeping moving, preventing Cox from controlling successfully.
Cox pushes down on Malinowski's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Cox is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Cox frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Malinowski defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Cox.

Cox has control of Malinowski's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Malinowski regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Cox works his way to his opponent's back.

Malinowski won't enjoy being in this position. Cox looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Malinowski is tapping - it's over boys! Cox picks up the submission victory!
