The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture shoots in looking for a takedown. Boxer Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Couture keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boxer Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Couture misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Couture fails to land the takedown.
Joe Boxer Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devin Couture.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Couture.
Couture with a poor takedown
and Boxer Jr counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Couture shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Boxer Jr counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Couture looks gassed!
Boxer Jr connects with a leg kick. Couture looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Devin Couture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boxer Jr drives through and clinches with Couture against the cage.
Boxer Jr has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Couture clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Couture is trapped and Boxer Jr is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Boxer Jr is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Boxer Jr gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Boxer Jr gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Boxer Jr apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Couture is rocked!
Boxer Jr catches Couture with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Couture forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Joe Boxer Jr!
