Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mya Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lockon Stratos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lockon Stratos!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stratos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gold moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gold looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stratos ducks under a wild hook from Gold.
Stratos throws a series of punches but Gold avoids them all with ease.
Gold avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stratos misses with a series of wild punches.
Stratos takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Stratos misses with a low kick.
Stratos tries to clinch but Gold is having none of it.
Gold throws a shot to the body.
Stratos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stratos circles away from the clinch attempt.

Gold jumps guard and drags Stratos to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Stratos has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gold to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Stratos is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gold pulls down on the head and he's put Stratos to sleep! This one is all over!
