The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neil tries for a takedown but Reddick sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Neil counters with a three punch combo that has Reddick backing up. Reddick nods at Neil to acknowledge the strikes.

Reddick drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Reddick is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kain Reddick hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Reddick has a takedown stuffed.

Neil pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Reddick back to the cage. Neil follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Neil shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Reddick defends it nicely.

Reddick keeps control of Neil as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Reddick escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Reddick wants to clinch up but Neil keeps it at a distance.
No luck for Neil with that takedown attempt.
Reddick tries to clinch but Neil is having none of it.

Nice uppercut there from Neil.
Neil tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reddick sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Neil somewhat.
Horrible takedown by Reddick or perhaps it was just good defense by Neil which made him look bad.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Reddick stops Neil from standing up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Kain Reddick will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Reddick closes the distance and clinches up with Neil, looking for a takedown. Reddick pushes Neil against the cage but Neil circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Neil defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Reddick.

Reddick shoots in for a double leg but Neil sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vince Neil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kain Reddick.

Neil darts in and clinches Reddick up against the cage.

Reddick lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Neil wants to get back to his feet.
Neil misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Reddick is looking to take a break and control but Neil is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Reddick stops Neil from getting back to his feet.
Neil is looking to improve his position.
Reddick seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Neil scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Reddick manages to mount him!

Reddick takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Neil looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
