Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ikki Rokusho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonsy Sensation (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sensation throws a nice looking combination but Rokusho bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sensation checks the leg kick nicely there.
Sensation connects with a looping right hand.
Sensation circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rokusho on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rokusho on the wrong end of a nice hook.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rokusho throws a punch but it's blocked by Sensation.
Rokusho misses with the head strike.
Rokusho lands with a left to the head.
Sensation looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Rokusho pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rokusho throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A left lands for Rokusho.

It looks like Jonsy Sensation has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice uppercut lands for Sensation. That snapped Rokusho's head back.
Sensation feints a jab promting Rokusho to slip. Sensation then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Rokusho slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Rokusho drives through and clinches with Sensation against the cage.
Sensation takes a shot to the head.
Rokusho misses with a short punch on the inside.

Rokusho breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rokusho throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sensation connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rokusho just misses with a punch to the body.
Rokusho throws a big shot that misses.
Rokusho walks into a jab.
Sensation tries to bum rush Rokusho with a series of wild strikes but Rokusho uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rokusho misses with a low kick.
Good work by Sensation as he checks the leg kick.

Rokusho forces Sensation back against the cage and clinches.
Sensation lands a nice uppercut.
Sensation lands a shoulder strike.
Sensation jumps guard but Rokusho stands there with Sensation around his waist. Sensation gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sensation tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rokusho smiles and moves away.

Sensation clinches up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rokusho creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rokusho is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Sensation wants to break the clinch but can't.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Rokusho breaks the clinch.

Rokusho darts in and clinches Sensation up against the cage.
Sensation tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Ikki Rokusho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonsy Sensation.
Sensation fails to pull guard.
Rokusho lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sensation backwards.
Sensation lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Sensation tries to break the clinch but Rokusho is controlling the position.

Sensation lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rokusho backwards.
Sensation tries to circle away but Rokusho has him pinned against the cage.
Rokusho lands a hook to the side of the head.
Sensation tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rokusho smiles and moves away.
Rokusho throws a series of punches but Sensation avoids them all with ease.
Sensation looks to land a combination. Rokusho sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Rokusho gets a clinch.
Sensation tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rokusho just stands there and leans against the cage.
Rokusho has a couple of punches blocked by Sensation.
Rokusho working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Rokusho escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rokusho lands with an overhand left.
Rokusho loads up on a big right hand but Sensation slips the punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rokusho tries to clinch there but Sensation circles away.
Sensation uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rokusho.

Sensation gets a clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rokusho can't find room to land a body shot as Sensation controls the action.

Rokusho breaks from the clinch.
Rokusho misses with a leg kick
letting Sensation counter with a right hand.
Rokusho tries to clinch but Sensation is having none of it.
Sensation moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Rokusho bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sensation tries to pull guard but Rokusho holds him up against the cage and eventually Sensation drops back down to his feet.
Sensation jumps guard but Rokusho turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Sensation misses with a hook from the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Sensation.
Rokusho goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Rokusho breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rokusho scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Sensation forces Rokusho back against the cage and clinches.
Sensation fails to pull guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ikki Rokusho will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jonsy Sensation's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Sensation connects with a right hand. Rokusho shakes it off.

Rokusho lands a big right hand that sends Sensation crashing to the mat! Rokusho stays standing though and waves Sensation back to his feet!

Rokusho makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

That has opened up Jonsy Sensation's cut even more.

Sensation scores with a one two! Rokusho had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Sensation seems to have recovered his senses.
Rokusho is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ikki Rokusho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sensation bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Rokusho tries to clinch but Sensation is having none of it.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Rokusho moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Sensation! Rokusho continues to tee off on Sensation, landing with a left and a right! Rokusho connects with a right hand that leaves Sensation sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Rokusho!
