The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malac circles away from the clinch attempt.

de Jesus lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Malac backs up against the cage.

Malac throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around de Jesus's waist but de Jesus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Malac off to one side.

Malac shoots in for a double leg but de Jesus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
