Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Conor Heatrt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jt Spirit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spirit has chosen Nujabes - Feather as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Heatrt scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Spirit tries to get to full guard but Heatrt has control of the leg.

Heatrt is working for a kimura but Spirit is defending it quite comfortably.
Spirit preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Heatrt is looking for submissions but instead, Spirit has regained full guard.

Heatrt drops back, looking for a kneebar! Spirit looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Spirit looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Spirit!
Heatrt tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Spirit is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Heatrt will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Heatrt is looking for a sweep.
Spirit lands an elbow.
Spirit cracks Heatrt with a big right hand but Heatrt just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Heatrt is looking to regain half guard here but Spirit keeps moving and retains side control.
A lull in the action here as Spirit stalls from top position.
Heatrt sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jt Spirit hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Spirit comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Heatrt doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spirit scores with the left hand. Heatrt knows he should have avoided that one.

Spirit lands a right hook to the body.
Heatrt takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

enabling Spirit to counter with a crisp jab.

and Spirit counters with a big head kick but Heatrt shrugs it off.

Spirit lands a glancing blow to the side of Heatrt's head.
Spirit cracks Heatrt with a hook to the temple - Heatrt is on wobbly legs here! Spirit swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Heatrt falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Spirit wins by TKO!
