Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Qos Delanoesh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Xavier Thompson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Xavier Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thompson tries to move into range but Delanoesh moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Horrible takedown by Thompson or perhaps it was just good defense by Delanoesh which made him look bad.
Thompson darts in and clinches Delanoesh up against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Delanoesh.

Thompson pulls Delanoesh into guard.
Thompson keeping moving, preventing Delanoesh from controlling successfully.
Thompson pulls Delanoesh in to control the position.
Thompson pushes Delanoesh off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Delanoesh connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Thompson momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thompson shoots in for a takedown but Delanoesh shows good takedown defense.
Thompson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Delanoesh's waist but Delanoesh gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thompson off to one side.
Qos Delanoesh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xavier Thompson.
Thompson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Delanoesh swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Thompson throws a sloppy head kick
and Delanoesh counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Delanoesh moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Thompson looks gassed!
Delanoesh swats away the attempt to clinch by Thompson.
Thompson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Thompson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Delanoesh connects with a leg kick. Thompson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Delanoesh scoring well with a low kick there.
Delanoesh wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Delanoesh jabs Thompson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Delanoesh with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Delanoesh feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Thompson's calf.
Delanoesh lands a jab to Thompson's midsection.
Thompson needs to keep his hands up - Delanoesh had a free shot at his head there.
Thompson walks into a stiff left hand from Delanoesh.
Delanoesh with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A solid leg kick lands there for Delanoesh.
Thompson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Thompson is rocked!
Delanoesh pounces like a tiger and cracks Thompson with a vicious hook! Thompson is down but not out! Delanoesh follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Qos Delanoesh!
