Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Lazzarino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicholis Nabavian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Luke Lazzarino has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazzarino loads up on a big right hand but Nabavian slips the punch.
Nabavian circles away from the clinch attempt.

Nabavian fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lazzarino, pushing him back against the cage.

Nabavian manages to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lazzarino tries to stand but Nabavian is controlling from the bottom.

Lazzarino stands and steps away. Nabavian gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nabavian is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lazzarino defends it well.

Nicholis Nabavian showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
