Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rebus Nimble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cole comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Stand Up and Shout by Steel Dragons kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rebus Nimble!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Cole!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nimble keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cole.
Nimble throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cole on the side of the head.
Nimble fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cole has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Nice sprawl there from Nimble as Cole shoots in.
Nimble paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nimble feints and then cracks Cole's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cole down.
Chris Cole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cole tries to clinch but Nimble moves out of range.
Cole rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nimble moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cole fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nimble cracks Cole with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nimble shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Nimble throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Nimble looks for the body kick but Cole saw that one coming.
Nimble scores with a nice right hand.
Nimble throws a wild body kick that Cole sees coming a mile off.
Cole closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nimble circles away.
Cole shoots in and drives through. Nimble sprawls well.
Rebus Nimble has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Cole.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cole shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nimble sprawls well. Nimble wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cole gets slowly back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cole looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cole misses the shot to the body.
Nimble tests Cole's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cole on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Cole uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nimble.
Rebus Nimble is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nimble connects with a high kick.


Cole is rocked!
Nimble drops Cole with a straight right hand, right on the button! Nimble follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
