Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crier fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mafaust sprawls well initially but Crier persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Crier really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mafaust. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Crier is trying to control the action in half guard but Mafaust is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Mafaust bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crier's guard.

Mafaust cracks Crier with a solid left hand.
Mafaust distracts Crier with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Crier wants to sweep here but Mafaust controlling him for the moment.

Mafaust lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mafaust postures up in Crier's guard and throws a big left but Crier blocks it.
Mafaust works over Crier with some ground and pound from guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mafaust is working Crier over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Crier tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Mafaust has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mafaust makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Crier is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mafaust chips away with some ground and pound.
Mafaust is in close to Crier's body, working some short punches and elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mafaust has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Crier is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Crier lands a knee to the body.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Crier just misses with a elbow thrown towards Mafaust's brow.

Crier has picked Mafaust up - he's going for a ride! Crier dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Mafaust tries to strike from the bottom.

Crier is sitting in close to Mafaust's body. Mafaust has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Crier is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Crier is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mafaust.
