Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Neik Hammerlik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammerlik comes to the cage accompanied by Motorhead-Enter Sandman. Maxwell has chosen Sonne - Rammstein as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell thows a body shot but no joy.
Hammerlik throws a sloppy head kick and Maxwell moves out of range easily.
Hammerlik wants to clinch up but Maxwell keeps it at a distance.
Maxwell has closed the distance and engaged Hammerlik in a clinch.
Hammerlik throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Maxwells head.
A head punch on the inside from Hammerlik fails to land.
Maxwell with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Maxwell swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hammerlik is working Maxwell over against the cage.

Maxwell is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hammerlik is defending well.

Hammerlik pushes Maxwell back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Hammerlik lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Hammerlik lands with a short shot to the head.
Maxwell misses with some punches.
Hammerlik lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Ross Maxwell has been cut.

Hammerlik tries to throw a body punch but Maxwell avoids it by throwing Hammerlik back against the cage.
Maxwell has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A nice left hand lands by Hammerlik.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Hammerlik.

Maxwell blocks a body shot from Hammerlik.
Hammerlik makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Maxwell is rocked!
Hammerlik lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Hammerlik is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Hammerlik drops Maxwell onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Maxwell is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Hammerlik pushes Maxwell against the cage and as Maxwell bounces back, Hammerlik cracks him with a massive overhand right that sends him crashing to the mat! Hammerlik follows up with more strikes but Maxwell was out from that first, devastating punch! Wow!
