The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Francisco misses with a takedown attempt - Hamilton sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hamilton throws a shot from downtown. Francisco moves away and avoids it.
Francisco fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hamilton throws a hook to the side of Francisco's head but Francisco sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Francisco fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Hamilton throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Francisco sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Francisco counters with a nice leg kick.

and Francisco counters with a head kick. That will keep Hamilton thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Hamilton throws a looping overhand right but Francisco ducks down to avoid it.

Joey Hamilton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hamilton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Francisco.
